Another night of not really sleeping, but I’m not tired. I don’t get it, but am not complaining. What I need to start doing is just get up and come downstairs to do something. Goodness knows I have enough on my task list.
I tried another recipe last night - salt and vinegar chips in the dehydrater. Since those are my favorite chips, I figured it was worth some slicing. This morning I came downstairs and did a taste test and found out that no, it was very much NOT worth some slicing. Today’s experiment is flax seed crackers. They’re in the dehydrator now.
I don’t even know why I’m tracking my weight, since that’s only part of why I’m doing this. Guess it’s just habit … which is interesting in itself. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t obsessing about my weight, even when I wore a size 6.
4:00 - Hanging out, doing some work, have a baby in my lap eating an almond butter ball and watching Shrek. We went to the doctor this morning to take the bandages off of hubby’s arm and were shocked to see that it didn’t look like someone had scooped out a football. It doesn’t even look like there’s a depression in the area at all, really. We know that part of that is because he’s still swollen, but considering the fact that we were joking around about what kind of tattoo would best hide the area where the tumor came out (Grand Canyon, Black Hole, va-jay-jay), it was really quite a relief. The scar itself is quite long, probably about eight inches, but that’s no biggie … although I don’t think he’ll be able to get away with a shark bite story.
